The island of Hawaii, or the Big Island as it is also called, has to be one of the top picks for an exotic location for a destination wedding. Hawaii is the largest of the eight tropical islands in the Central Pacific, and the smaller ones are Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Kahoolawe.

In a good year, seven million tourists visit the Hawaiian islands. It is most popular as an exotic tourist destination as well as for romantic Hawaii honeymoons. Many holidays have been enjoyed at the Big Island as a choice destination spot.

Hawaii weddings have a special flavor that couples cannot find anywhere else in the U.S. This is why so many weddings take place near the white sand and blue waters of Hawaii. The islands can provide a very economical wedding experience as well, which only enhances the attraction.
